Job Description
We are looking for a Pricing Intern to join our Pricing Team in Dubai. This role is ideal for someone curious about data, eager to learn how pricing works in a fast-paced e-commerce and automotive environment, and has a strong eye for detail and accuracy.
You will support the Pricing Team by analyzing market data, reviewing vehicle specifications, and assisting in ensuring that our pricing and catalog data are complete and accurate. You will be responsible for assigning a real market price to Kavak's cars and ensuring that our quotations are provided in a timely manner while meeting expected quality standards. In addition, you will be responsible for mapping market listings to our catalog and verifying car descriptions.
Market Data Analysis
* You will be in charge of finding a market reference for cars and generating purchase offers for potential customers using data and the available pricing tools.
* Responsible for comparing our algorithm's automatic estimates against the market and obtaining insights for continuous improvement, providing quotations for their feed.
* Support in reading and interpreting car pricing data from the market, sales platforms, and internal dashboards.
* Analyze market trends and inventory performance to ensure accurate pricing on the supply side.
* Help identify the fair market value for vehicles based on specifications, mileage, and condition.
* Observe and document pricing trends in the market, including supply/demand changes and new model releases.
* Respond to and efficiently resolve inquiries and requirements from the supply team and other stakeholders.
* Ensure smooth pricing operations and coordination between pricing and other departments.
Car Mapping & Trim Verification
* Review vehicle listings and their images to match each listing to the correct SKU in Kavak's car catalog.
* Ensure listings are mapped accurately to the right version, trim, and engine specifications.
* Help maintain clean, structured, and verified data for pricing algorithms.
* Assist in verifying inspection reports and confirming that vehicle trims are correctly identified.
* Ensure that all customer cars are matched to the correct trim and features to guarantee accurate pricing.
Support Data Quality Processes
* Help identify and correct data mismatches, missing information, or inconsistencies in listings.
* Support documentation of pricing and mapping processes.

Requirements
You (ideally) Have:
* A university student or recent graduate (preferred fields: Economics, Business, Engineering, Data Science, or related).
* Detail-oriented and highly organized.
* Comfortable working with Excel or Google Sheets (basic knowledge required).
* Curious and eager to learn about cars, pricing, and data.
* Able to follow structured processes with accuracy.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
