Your impact
We are looking for interns interested in working on exciting and engaging large-scale infrastructure projects. You'll work with the best Professional Engineers and Project Managers in the business. We want you to be empowered to deliver bold solutions for everyday living.
Roles will get experience in a diverse range of expertise and sectors, including
* Rail and Transit Multimodal facilities, automated guideways, paratransit systems, bus facilities and depots, aerial, at-grade, and underground stations, elevated structures, tunnels, and line structures.
* Bridges and Tunnels Comprehensive design, construction management, and inspection services.
* Highways and Roads Expertise in planning, design, and maintenance.
* Architecture and Planning Transit station and support facility design, urban realm planning
You'll be accountable for tasks specific to your technical group and for supporting our Project Management team as you gain familiarity with the client's expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. You'll be surrounded by the expert mentorship of Professional Engineers and Project Managers, and plenty of opportunities to help you thrive.
Here's what you'll need
* Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Urban Planning, Architecture, or a closely related field
* Knowledge of and experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Some positions may require knowledge of and experience using CADD/Design software (preferably AutoCAD, OpenBuildings, Rhino, MicroStation)
* Some positions may require knowledge and experience using Adobe Creative Suite software (InDesign, Illustrator, PowerPoint
* Previous experience with design or transportation-related coursework.
Preferred Qualifications
* Enrolled in a college/university along the Brooklyn-Queens Corridor
* Resident of the Brooklyn-Queens corridor

The base salary range for this position is $55,000.00 to $75,000.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
