That is why we are interested in meeting talented individuals like you for our Veterans Pathway Internship (VPI). It is specifically designed for those seeking a new career in our industry.
We are looking for recently transitioning service members to participate in our 16-week program with the chance to interview for permanent employment during the program.
Program Overview:
* New Joiner Orientation: attend sessions hosted by various stakeholders to learn about our culture, organizational structure, business divisions, employee benefits, and more
* On the Job Training with your host team to build these skills required
* Start your first day on your divisionally aligned team. Placement within one of our key business areas. Your team assignments will be determined through our selection and interview process.
* Mentorship alignments
* Ongoing access to cross-divisional networking opportunities such as guest speaker sessions
* Continuous learning and development provided throughout the program, such as self-paced online courses, and business skills workshops hosted internally
* During the internship you will have an opportunity to interview for permanent employment
VPI will prepare you for your post military career. You will work side by side and learn from some of the brightest and most successful people in the industry. You will acquire new skills and make important contacts to help you get a head start. We want you to see what working for UBS is like so you can develop a broad and realistic view of our business, culture, and workplace. Your team
Through our screening and interview process you will be aligned to one of our teams within Group Functions or Global Wealth Management. Final selection decisions are made post interviews assessing both candidate interest and hiring manager preferences.
Your expertise
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office: specifically, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
* Excellent verbal & written communication and presentation skills
* Advanced analytical and/or quantitative skills
* Demonstrated top performance throughout military career
* Exemplify leadership, teamwork and you are a culture carrier
* Can adapt and works well under pressure in a demanding corporate environment
* Produces accurate, detailed documents and presentations under tight deadlines
* Ability to manage multiple priorities with a strong attention to detail
* Capacity to manage projects independently while assuming a high level of responsibility

Salary information
The base rate of pay offered for this role is $60.00/hour
