BI Intern (m/f/d)

Job Description:

Your Task

As a BI intern, you will participate alongside senior colleagues in an OnPrem or cloud-based BigData project and help complete project tasks. You will gain experience in an international project team and get the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art tools and proven development methodologies.

Responsibilities

* Monitoring of Data Pipelines/BigData Systems
* Participate in simpler development tasks
* Error analysis/troubleshooting with senior colleagues
* Conducting AdHoc data analyses

Your Profile

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Intern with foundational knowledge in BigData architectures, programming skills, and database experience to participate in OnPrem or cloud-based BigData projects.

Must Have Skills

* Active full-time student status for at least 1 year
* Availability to work at least 20 hours per week
* Basic knowledge of Business Intelligence/BigData architectures
* Basic knowledge of modern BigData technologies (e.g. Spark Framework, Hadoop, File-Formats)
* Experience in at least 1 programming language (e.g. C#, Java, Python or other)
* Knowledge of Relational Databases/SQL (e.g. ORACLE, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
* Minimum B1 level knowledge of English or German

Nice to Have Skills

* Knowledge of contemporary tools/development environments (e.g. Visual Studio, Databricks, Jupiter, Git)
* Basic knowledge of NoSQL repositories
* Basic knowledge of cloud services (e.g. Azure or AWS)
