Who we are looking for:
State Street Bank International GmbH (SSBI) is looking for a Data Analytics (DA) Intern to support our Corporate Audit Department. In this role you will get an opportunity to make your first steps within data analytics in the financial industry and gain the initial experience in both analytics and financial audit area. This role will be based in Krakow, Poland. After onboarding phase, you will be assigned to audit projects related to the SSBI headquarters and its branches including, but not limited to, the SSBI Poland branch.
To ensure smooth onboarding, this role at the initial stage is performed 100% from the office with the potential possibility to move to the hybrid model after a few months.
What you will be responsible for:
As Corporate Audit Data analytics trainee, you will:
* Work with DA team members on audits and perform data analytics-based control effectiveness testing. Participate in audits according to a risk-based approach, recommending control improvements that may include operational enhancements or efficiencies and preparing discussion matrix;
* Have the ability to learn new tools and technologies used in data analytics work;
* Perform data search and ad hoc analysis upon requests of business audit teams;
* Perform data mining or analysis to generate analytical insights to help influence audit focus and coverage;
* Be part of the team responsible for developing and compiling Data Analytics reports.

Education & Preferred Qualifications:
* Preferred university degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, Accounting, or Finance.

Minimum Salary:
The minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.
Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.
In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.
