Who we are looking for:
State Street Bank International GmbH (SSBI) is looking for an Intern to join our Corporate Audit Department. This is an excellent opportunity to take your first steps in the financial industry and gain foundational experience in banking and audit field. The role is based in Krakow, Poland. Following the onboarding period, you will support audit projects related to the SSBI and its branches including, including the SSBI Poland branch.
To ensure a smooth start, the internship will be performed 100% on-site in the Krakow office, with the potential to transition to a hybrid model after several months.
What you will be responsible for:
As Corporate Audit Intern, you will:
* Support Corporate Audit activities, including participation in process walkthroughs and other audit procedures.
* Build the foundational knowledge required to perform daily tasks within Corporate Audit.
* Execute data analytics tasks that support audit planning and fieldwork.
* Conduct initial audit testing under the supervision of senior team members, gradually gaining independence in managing assigned tasks.
* Participate in training, development activities, and other duties as assigned.

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

* Certifications related to audit, controlling, data analytics or quality control are an advantage.

Minimum Salary:
The minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.
Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.
In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.
