At Grand Hyatt Barcelona, one of the city's newest luxury landmarks, we are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, and service-driven student to join our Reservations Internship Program.
If you are passionate about hospitality, guest experience, and hotel operations, this opportunity will allow you to develop your skills in reservations, communication, and revenue support within a luxury environment.
The Reservations Trainee plays a key role in supporting the reservations team, ensuring accurate bookings, seamless guest communication, and an exceptional experience from the very first guest interaction.

At Hyatt, our purpose is "Care for People so They Can Be Their Best." During your 6-month internship, you will gain exposure to the commercial and operational side of the hotel, working closely with:
* Reservations Department - Managing individual and group bookings
* Front Office - Ensuring smooth guest arrivals and departures
* Sales & Revenue Teams - Supporting pricing strategies and occupancy optimization

Candidate Requirements:

What You'll Do

As a Reservations Trainee, you will:
* Assist in managing room reservations via phone, email, and online channels
* Provide guests with accurate information about room types, rates, promotions, and hotel services
* Support the team in handling booking modifications, cancellations, and special requests
* Maintain updated and accurate information in the reservation system (PMS)
* Ensure all reservation details are correctly recorded and communicated to relevant departments
* Collaborate with Front Office and Housekeeping to ensure smooth guest experiences
* Assist with group bookings and event-related reservations
* Monitor availability and support the team in maximizing occupancy and revenue opportunities
* Learn and apply Hyatt standards in guest communication and service excellence
* Develop strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Who You Are

We'd love to meet you if you are:
* A current university or hospitality/business school student
* Interested in hotel operations, reservations, or revenue management
* Fluent in Spanish and comfortable in English (additional languages are a plus)
* Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with systems
* A strong communicator with a guest-focused mindset
* Proactive, reliable, and eager to learn
* Familiar with basic computer systems (Excel, PMS knowledge is a plus)
* Available for a 6-month full-time internship
* Able to sign an internship agreement with your school
* Legally authorized to work in Spain or eligible for an EU internship
