Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Manufacturing Engineering Teams are working in mold tooling, die tooling, machining, and assembly techniques, possessing good knowledge of the associated manufacturing processes which may include the optimization and standardization of molding / assembly or other processes within the manufacturing environment. They design and develop manufacturing process and automation platforms and apply them for the realization of new product developments as well as optimization of existing products already in production.

Tasks and Responsibilities

* Conducting knowledge of molding techniques and manufacturing processes which may include the optimization and standardization of molding processes within the manufacturing environment
* Designs and develops manufacturing process platforms and automation platforms, and applies these for the realization of new product developments as well as optimization of existing products already in production
* Continuous monitoring of production losses and defining and implementing actions to reduce them
* Analyses the technical problems that arise in production and proposes solutions
* Selection and optimization of tools for piece part production and the selection of the most suitable manufacturing concepts
* Supports research and development teams to produce sample manufacturing equipment, product samples and prototypes

Ideal Background

* Finished Bsc or Msc university studies in Engineering domain (Polymer/Materials Engineering is a plus)
* At least a few years of experience in manufacturing/process engineering or similar technical field
* Experience in injection molding, overmolding or polymer material field
* Conversational English and Hungarian
* Good knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
* Proactive mindset and excellent communication skills
