re:Cycle Reverse Logistics (RRL) is looking for a talented, driven, and market focused, Commodity Manager in support of the Reverse Logistics ("RL") Material Recovery program. As the RL Commodity Manager, you will be responsible for collaborating with IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) partners to ensure commercial and operational standards are meeting RRL business and industry expectations. Responsibilities will include supporting multiple categories of hardware components for proceed recovery, vendor performance management, vendor negotiation, market analysis, and contract/commercial management. To achieve this, the Commodity Manager will need to partner with site operations team to align process improvements with commercial language to continuously optimize our end-to-end recovery strategy and overall sustainability goals.

Key job responsibilities
· Develop and maintain Reverse Logistics recovery channels
· Manage vendor relationships and performance, identify new partners that can add value to our operations.
· Act as point of escalation for all commercial related issues within external resale/recycling channels
· Support vendor operational excellence improvement exercises

Candidate Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related technical field
- Experience in procurement, supply chain, inventory management, contract management, lease administration or operations
- Experience in strategic sourcing including vendor negotiations, global contract management, process improvement, operational and financial analysis
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python
- Experience in global supply chain management, managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced consumer electronics product company
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience in program, project, product management, or leading a product implementation process
- Experience in data centers, infrastructure service providers, or related technology companies
- Experience in a procurement organization performing vendor management, contract management, negotiating complex purchases, and bidding
