The Role and Impact

As a Commodity Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving Intel's supply chain strategies to ensure cost-effective, sustainable, and innovative solutions. You will contribute to the development of cutting-edge technologies by managing supplier relationships, influencing design decisions, and optimizing the procurement processes to meet Intel's strategic objectives. This is an opportunity to leverage your expertise in sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management to impact Intel's ability to deliver world-class products to its customers.

The Facilities Services Category Manager will perform category management activities including strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, contract development, and performance and risk management in support of Foundry and Real Estate Workplace Services (REWS) programs. These programs include real estate, employee facing facility services, small construction projects, and back of the house facility operations and maintenance.

In this role, the successful candidate will work with EMEA stakeholders to assess internal spends, current business environment, supply base and relevant market conditions in the development of the most appropriate category and contracting strategies.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute comprehensive commodity strategies that align with Intel's business needs and priorities.
* Drive supplier innovation and collaboration to advance Intel's product and technology goals.
* Maintain advanced knowledge of industry dynamics and market conditions to proactively address supply chain challenges.
* Manage supplier relationships to ensure adherence to procurement policies and deliver sustainable solutions for cost, quality, availability, and technology.
* Coordinate purchasing activities across cross-functional teams to acquire materials and services efficiently and cost-effectively.
* Partner with internal teams to capture commodity requirements and provide feedback on design decisions to optimize cost and meet business objectives.
* Conduct executive reviews of sourcing strategies and shape investment roadmaps in partnership with internal stakeholders.
* Pivot sourcing strategies in response to market changes, developing mitigation plans to maintain business continuity.
* Collaborate with finance and legal teams to resolve disputes and ensure supplier compliance with Intel's business processes.
* Lead initiatives for sustainability and regulatory compliance within the supply chain.
* Drive optimization through supplier financial analysis, cost targets, and reduction roadmaps.

Qualifications:

* Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration. Master's degree is a plus but not required
* Minimum of 7+ of related experience in supply chain management, category management, contracts management, or project management.
* Strong supply chain, supplier management, and negotiation skills
* Strong strategic skills in managing large global programs with ability to sense and detect changes in business environment and bring forth relevant recommendations
* Excellent data analytical skills, with the ability to break complex problems into smaller components for resolution.
* Ability to seek out, understand, and apply benchmarking concepts.
* Strong knowledge of contracts, contract law and claims management processes and procedures.
* Strong stakeholder management and partnering skills with demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively.
* Ability to influence for win/win outcomes with suppliers, business partners, and upper management based on detailed analysis.
* High tolerance for ambiguity in a highly fluid work environment. Ability to embrace change.
* Ability to interface with multifunctional groups at multiple management levels.
