Main Responsabilities

As a Data Engineer supporting Supply Chain Solutions Data Products, you will design, build, and operate domain-aligned data products that enable reliable, scalable, and business-ready data for analytics, applications, and AI use cases.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform and harmonize multiple data sources into trusted data products, ensuring high data quality, observability, and usability across the supply chain ecosystem.
In addition, you will:
* Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and delivery of data products
* Build curated data product assets (tables, views, APIs) for self-service consumption
* Implement and monitor data quality validations and controls within pipelines
* Ensure data product SLAs for availability, freshness, and reliability
* Support operational activities including monitoring, troubleshooting, and recovery of data pipelines
* Create and maintain documentation (data definitions, transformations, lineage, and usage guidelines)
* Partner with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions
* Apply data governance, security, and access control practices across data products

What Skills You Need

* Experience building and maintaining data pipelines (ETL/ELT) in cloud environments
* Strong knowledge of data modeling, transformation, and large-scale data processing
* Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in distributed processing (e.g., Spark, Databricks)
* Experience using cloud platforms (e.g., AWS services such as S3, Lambda, RDS)
* Experience implementing data quality, monitoring, and observability practices
* Experience building or integrating REST APIs
* Familiarity with CI/CD practices and Git-based workflows
* Strong collaboration and communication skills in Agile teams

What Makes You Stand Out

o Hands-on experience with Databricks, Palantir, and Lakehouse architectures (medallion model)
o Experience working with domain-aligned data products (Data-as-a-Product / Data Mesh)
o Experience defining and operating data SLAs, data contracts, and product-level quality controls
o Knowledge of Supply Chain domains (planning, procurement, logistics, manufacturing)
o Strong focus on data reliability, scalability, and performance
o Ability to translate complex business needs into simple, scalable data solutions
o Experience working in global, cross-functional team environments

Education

o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field
o Master's degree in Data Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline is preferred
o Equivalent practical experience in data engineering, software development, or data platforms may be considered
