About the job

Do you take pride in a flawless payroll run? To ensure stable, accurate, and compliant payroll delivery, we are looking for an experienced Payroll Professional to join our Employee Services team. This is a hands on, operational role where your expertise directly impacts employee satisfaction and the smooth running of the organization.

As a Payroll Professional, you manage and execute payroll processes accurately, efficiently, and in full compliance with relevant regulations. You play a critical role in ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time, while acting as a trusted expert for payroll related questions. Your work contributes to compliant operations, financial well-being, and continuous improvement within Employee Services.

Please note for this role:
* Temporary contract - 18 months
* Dutch language is mandatory

Key responsibilities & activities:

You will be responsible for the day-to-day payroll execution for all entities, including:

End to end monthly payroll processing
* Payroll calculations and validations
* Preparation and verification of payroll output and payment files
* Processing corrections, off cycle payrolls, and payroll simulations

Control, reporting & compliance
* Preparation of payroll approvals and explanation of variances where required
* Preparation, control, and reconciliation of General Ledger and financial payroll reporting
* Preparation of statutory reports and payments; pension, benefits, and vendor related payroll reporting

Operational excellence
* Handling employee payroll queries (Tier 2)
* Payslip distribution and accurate payroll documentation archiving
* Identifying payroll risks, issues, and improvement opportunities during the transition period
* Ensuring accurate and timely updates in HR and payroll systems (either directly or via the data management team), in line with 4 eyes principles
* Close collaboration with HR, Finance, and payroll vendors

You also bring the following experience and skills:

* Fluency in Dutch is mandatory
* At least five years of hands-on experience as a Payroll Specialist / Payroller
* Strong knowledge of end-to-end payroll and HR administration processes
* Experience with ADP Workforce is a strong advantage
* Ability to manage teams in a highly matrixed international environment
* Highly detail oriented, reliable, and able to work independently
* Calm under pressure and resilient during periods of change
* Strong ownership and a service-oriented mindset
