What does the job involve?
Bałtyk 2 and Bałtyk 3 Offshore Wind Farm projects consist of 2 x 50 turbines, 2 OSS and 2 ONS with total capacity up to 1,5GW. The wind farms are located respectively 37km and 22km north from the Polish coastline. During the operations phase, maintenance of the wind farms will be conducted from our new operations and maintenance (O&M) base in Łeba, with daily shifts onboard Crew Transfer Vessels (CTV's). The O&M base will include a warehouse, quay, Central Control Room, offices and supporting infrastructure, all of which will be purpose built. In the interim, during the construction of the base, the position will be based out of our Gdansk office.

For our offshore wind operation base in Łeba (north of Poland), we are looking for an experienced technician or engineer with a strong electrical and/or mechanical background, ideally gained in offshore wind, but also open to candidates from other relevant industries (e.g. energy, heavy industry, manufacturing or industrial maintenance).

A good understanding of wind turbine technology (including Direct Drive concepts) and MV/HV equipment will be considered an advantage, however candidates with solid experience in industrial electrical, automation or mechanical systems and a willingness to develop in offshore wind are equally encouraged to apply.

You will be required to use a variety of service tools, including hand tools, measurement equipment, lifting and tensioning tools, as part of daily maintenance activities in an offshore environment.
You will become a member of a team of professionals responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Bałtyk 2 and 3 offshore wind farms, working in an international and safety-focused environment.

The Offshore Technician is responsible for the servicing of wind turbines and associated infrastructure through corrective maintenance works. During the construction and installation stage you shall aid the construction and commissioning team. You will provide the technical expertise and assistance for the relevant disciplines and contribute to safe and efficient operations. You will be part of a hybrid competence center with team members located in Łeba, Gdansk, Warsaw, UK and Norway.

What will my tasks be?

Within this position, your key tasks will be to:

* Perform all work in accordance with HSE standards applicable to offshore operations, ensuring strict adherence to safety procedures and contributing to a zero-harm culture.
* Operate, maintain, troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems on offshore wind turbines, including both high and low voltage equipment.
* Execute detailed reporting of all activities in line with company and offshore procedures, including maintenance records, incident reporting and work documentation.
* Ensure reliable and efficient operation of offshore assets, taking a long-term, proactive approach to maintenance and performance optimization.
* Continuously build and update technical knowledge, particularly in offshore wind turbine technology, safety requirements and operational best practices.
* Collaborate closely with turbine suppliers and offshore service teams, supporting troubleshooting, maintenance campaigns and technical improvements.
* Support development and optimization of maintenance strategies, including participation in risk assessments and initiatives to reduce downtime and improve turbine availability.
* Identify and assess operational risks related to offshore work environment, including equipment, tools and working conditions, and actively mitigate them.
* Coordinate maintenance activities with offshore operations teams, ensuring effective planning of turbine downtime while minimizing impact on production and maintaining safe work execution.

* Strong technical background - electrical and/or mechanical, gained in wind industry or other relevant industrial sectors (e.g. energy, heavy industry, manufacturing, maintenance).
* Hands-on experience in operation and maintenance of technical equipment - experience from wind turbines (WTG) is an advantage, but not mandatory. Candidates with solid industrial maintenance experience (e.g. electricians, mechanics, automation technicians) are also highly valued.
* Ability to read and understand technical documentation, including electrical and hydraulic diagrams, mechanical drawings and manuals.
* Strong focus on safety, including knowledge of electrical safety rules and best practices from industrial environments.
* Willingness and ability to obtain required authorizations, including HV (SEP) and UDT certifications if not already held.
* Hold (or have ability to pass) required medical and offshore safety training.

* Proactive and open minded to furthering knowledge and experience base.
* Fluency in Polish (written and spoken) and good working knowledge of English.
* Availability to travel internationally during the construction phase. Followed by an ability to work on a shift rotation when operational (pattern 14ON-14OFF).
