Job scope and main responsibilities:

* Support IT Technical Services Provision and evolution for Iberia (EssilorLuxottica or Grand Vision locations) while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction working within controlled and changing IT systems and structures to achieve maximum results.
* Drive, execute and delivery of timely IT Projects as defined by Technical Services as well as assessing solutions for technical and business suitability and present proposals.
* Manage obsolescence on IT Infrastructure
* Follow and implement Tech Services strategyRelated activities:

* Business Change: To deliver Tech Services solutions for assigned projects
* Help Desk: To record, diagnose and resolve/escalate IT faults and incidents, via the help desk system.
* Staff Lifecycle: Responsible for IT lifecycle flows for users and devices
* Support Standardisation: To coordinate support actions with other IT support teams
* IT Support: maintain all PC/Server/Network hardware and software.
* Run Mode: To ensure that all IT systems are functioning effectively, properly utilising and updating procedures.
* Projects, manage projects assigned and / or execute projects for all businesses
* Hardware: Install and Setup local hardware
* Network Communications: To provide support for Networks and telephone systems
* Out Of Hours Support: To provide out of hours support to critical business activities on a rotation basis.Technical skills:

* Multiple years experience of IT projects, support and processes at 2nd line and 3rd line
* Experience of supporting PC LAN based networks together with experience of Windows (Server and Workstation), and Active Directory.
* Hands-on break fix skills with IT hardware (Servers, storage, network) and cabling.
* Excellent customer service, written and verbal communication skills.
* Proactive problem solving skills and being a team player are crucial to this role.Desirable Knowledge of the following:

* ITIL process knowledge
* Printer Hardware troubleshooting
* Microsoft Office Suite
* Windows Server OS
* VMware Virtual platforms
* IBM AS400 operations
* VPN / mobility solutions
* Cisco networking command line operations
* Local Network architecture
* Solarwinds Networking and Server modules
* Mobile phone operating systems (Android and iOS)Candidate profile:

Educational Background:

* IT engineer in a relevant discipline with further software qualifications
* ITIL qualification
* Core Microsoft CertificationsLanguages:
