Summary
The Manager, Electro-Mechanical Solution Deployment plays a key role in executing the installation, integration, and commissioning of Amadeus AirOps hardware solutions, including biometric e-gates, self-service kiosks, automated bag drops, and Seamless Journey platforms. The role ensures that solutions are deployed according to technical specifications, properly integrated with airport infrastructure, and validated end-to-end with both Amadeus and customer systems.
Working across international airport environments, this position combines hands-on technical expertise with team coordination responsibilities, supporting engineers and third-party partners during deployment activities. It focuses on ensuring reliable delivery, resolving on-site technical challenges, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality. The role is field-based, requiring frequent travel to support installations, site surveys, and go-live activities.

Key Responsibilities
* Perform mechanical assembly, installation, alignment, and integration of hardware solutions such as gates, kiosks, and automated bag drops;
* Install and verify electrical wiring, power supply, grounding, and cabling;
* Integrate components including sensors, scanners, cameras, printers, and biometric modules;
* Ensure installations comply with technical documentation, OEM guidelines, and site standards;
* Execute commissioning activities and validate connectivity with Amadeus systems;
* Perform hardware calibration and verify system interfaces and safety mechanisms;
* Coordinate with software teams to support end-to-end system validation;
* Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues during deployment and go-live phases;
* Conduct root-cause analysis and escalate issues when needed;
* Carry out site surveys, infrastructure checks, and deployment readiness assessments;
* Coordinate with airport stakeholders, contractors, and on-site teams;
* Ensure compliance with safety, security, and operational requirements;
* Maintain installation records, test documentation, and configuration logs;
* Provide site reporting and support handover activities;
* Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards;
* Deliver basic training and guidance to customer teams;
* Contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across deployments.

About the ideal candidate:
* Degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field;
* Relevant certifications in electrical work, safety, or technical domains (as applicable);
* Experience in field engineering, installation, or technical deployment environments;
* Exposure to hardware solutions, automation, or infrastructure systems is an advantage;
* Strong hands-on skills in installation, wiring, and troubleshooting;
* Ability to analyze issues and implement practical solutions on-site;
* Understanding of safety and compliance requirements in operational environments;
* Willingness and availability to travel regularly.
