Position Summary

The Billing Coordinator plays a key role in efficiently managing the billing process at Grand Hyatt Barcelona. The primary goal of this position is to ensure accuracy and timeliness in issuing invoices, as well as to effectively manage all financial information related to hotel transactions.
This role is responsible for supporting the hotel's financial integrity through precise documentation, clear communication with internal departments, and strict adherence to billing procedures. The Billing Coordinator ensures that all charges are correctly recorded, reconciled, and processed, contributing to smooth financial operations across the hotel.
This position is a temporary assignment to cover a medical leave.

Key Responsibilities

* Generate and verify detailed invoices for guests and corporate clients.
* Manage customer, corporate, and group account records.
* Coordinate with reception, events, and other departments to gather billing information.
* Ensure additional charges are correctly reflected on invoices.
* Assist guests with billing-related inquiries in a clear and professional manner.
* Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies with the finance team

Candidate Requirements:

Qualifications

* Previous experience in billing functions, preferably in the hospitality industry.
* Solid knowledge of billing systems and financial software.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
