Role Overview

This role is intentionally designed to deliver end-to-end operational support across the hiring and employee lifecycle, with a specialized focus on Talent Acquisition Operations within Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) initiatives.

Operating as a critical partner within the broader new hire services ecosystem, this position ensures alignment and continuity across interconnected hiring and employee processes during periods of organizational transition and integration.

The role plays a key part in enabling seamless onboarding, data integrity, and employee lifecycle management for M&A populations by managing complex, high-impact operational activities and partnering closely with cross-functional stakeholders.

This role is designed to support operational excellence, scalability, and precision execution in a fast-paced, high-volume, and highly dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition Operations (M&A) Execution

- Deliver end-to-end operational support for M&A-related hiring and onboarding activities

- Support offer letter generation, including LTI and specialized documentation

- Partner with recruiters, integration teams, and HR to ensure seamless transitions

Employee Lifecycle Support (M&A Integration)

- Support new hire processing, employee data changes, and supervisory updates

- Ensure accurate execution of transactions tied to employee integration

Candidate & Stakeholder Experience

- Serve as a point of contact for M&A onboarding and transition inquiries

- Provide timely, accurate, and professional communication to stakeholders

Compliance, Data Integrity & Controls

- Ensure audit compliance through accurate transaction processing

- Maintain confidentiality and data integrity across M&A transitions

- Identify and escalate risks or inconsistencies

Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

- Identify efficiency improvements in M&A processes

- Support process standardization and optimization

Qualifications

- Experience in Talent Acquisition Operations, HR Services, or shared services

- Experience with employee lifecycle transactions

- Exposure to M&A or integration work preferred

- Strong organizational and communication skills

- Proficiency in MS Office tools

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more. Mastercard benefits for interns generally include: 56 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time; jury duty leave; and on-site fitness facilities in some locations.
