Job Description:
Dentsu Creative is a global creative agency network built to unlock exponential growth for clients through Transformative Creativity - a unifying force that drives innovation across people, businesses, and society. Launched in June 2022, it operates in over 145 countries and is fully integrated with dentsu's Media and CXM capabilities to deliver seamless, end-to-end solutions worldwide. Guided by the philosophy of "Building Brands for What's Next," Dentsu Creative empowers brands to navigate current challenges and prepare for future opportunities, crafting resilient, forward-thinking strategies that thrive in an ever-evolving world.

Purpose of the Role

Creates high-quality visual work that brings creative ideas to life, translating direction from the Creative Lead and Design Director into strong, on-brand design outputs. Operates at a mid-weight level, with the craft skills to execute with confidence and the creative awareness to contribute meaningfully to the development of the work. AI tools are a core part of how this role works day to day, used to develop ideas, produce and refine work and continuously explore new creative possibilities.

The work produced by this squad is seen and judged by designers, photographers, filmmakers and digital creators. This is an audience that holds visual work to a professional standard and can immediately tell the difference between design that is genuinely excellent and design that is merely competent. The Designer working in this squad must be capable of producing work at the level this audience expects and must have enough cultural awareness to understand what that looks like right now.

What you'll do
Key Partnerships
Design Director: The primary day-to-day creative relationship. The Designer works closely with the Design Director to develop, refine and elevate outputs, taking clear direction on quality and visual standard whilst bringing their own craft and initiative to the execution. Copywriter: Close collaboration on integrated creative work, ensuring design and copy feel like a unified whole rather than separate elements.
Owns
* Creation of design assets, masters and modular components across formats and channels
* Visual interpretation of approved creative concepts and direction
* Quality, consistency and accuracy of design outputs
* Preparing work for downstream production, localisation and deployment
* Contributing to the visual development of ideas at an execution level, bringing craft thinking to the work rather than just technical production
* Actively integrating AI tools into everyday design workflow and bringing a spirit of ongoing exploration to what the technology can produce

Key Moments
* Developing creative concepts into polished design executions under the direction of the Design Director
* Creating and refining assets across formats, channels and markets
* Collaborating closely with the Copywriter to deliver integrated creative work
* Iterating design based on feedback from the Design Director and Creative Lead
* Preparing master files and assets for production handoff and scale
* Contributing visual references, cultural inputs and creative observations that help push the squad's work forward

What you'll bring
The strongest candidate will be someone who is genuinely embedded in creative culture, not just technically proficient. They follow what is happening in design, on social platforms and within the creative professional community because they are interested in it, not because it is a job requirement. They have the same relationship with AI: they are not waiting to be told to use it, they are already using it every day and constantly pushing to find out what it can do next. They want to get better, take direction well and have the ambition to produce work that genuinely stands out.

* A strong and developed design craft: the ability to produce visually compelling work across formats, with a clear eye for composition, typography, colour and detail
* Art direction sensibility: an understanding of how image selection, visual tone and compositional choices carry an idea. Not all designers think this way instinctively; this squad requires someone who does
* Social and content awareness: a genuine, active engagement with the social and content platforms where this audience spends time. The Designer should be able to identify what is resonating culturally, what feels current in the creative community and how design is being used in social contexts by the people Adobe is speaking to
* An AI-native way of working: AI tools are part of this person's daily design practice, not something they use occasionally or are still getting comfortable with. They use AI to develop ideas, produce work and push the quality of their output, and they bring genuine curiosity to exploring what the technology can do. Experience with Adobe Firefly specifically is expected. Portfolio evidence of sophisticated, integrated AI use is essential
* Familiarity with Adobe's professional creative tools at a working level: this is not a requirement to be an expert in every product, but the Designer should understand what these tools do and how creators use them in practice
* International awareness: an understanding that design must often travel across cultures and markets and a sensitivity to how visual language and reference points shift in different contexts
