[What the role is]The GRaduate Industry Traineeship Programme within the Public Service (GRIT@Gov) aims to provide fresh graduates with opportunities to gain industry-relevant skills and experience that can strengthen their employability to take up full time roles in the sector.
The trainee will support the Human Resource team in talent acquisition and employer branding efforts. This role offers exposure to recruitment operations, candidate engagement, onboarding processes, and HR data analysis, providing the trainee with hands-on experience in public sector HR
[What you will be working on]
* Propose new talent engagement initiatives, including the use of digital media tools to enhance employer branding and market career opportunities to targeted talent pool.
* Provide end to end support of key recruitment activities including sourcing, screening resumes and facilitating of interviews.
* Support Talent Acquisition operations such as onboarding, data collation and analysis.
* Any tasks/duties as assigned by the supervisor.
[What we are looking for]
* Background in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or similar areas preferred.
* Meticulous, good written and verbal communication skills, good interpersonal skills, positive attitude, willing to learn and customer focused.
* Able to work independently and multi-task.
* Interest in employer branding, digital outreach and comfortable with managing data
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
