About the team
Our Finance department is a fundamental part of Doctor Anywhere and plays a major role in ensuring the company's financial stability. We are responsible for advising management on financial decisions that have a far reaching impact on the company's future.

About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our finance team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in both finance and administrative functions, enabling you to develop a versatile skill set and contribute to the efficient operation of our organization. As a Finance Intern, you will work closely with our Finance team to support various tasks and projects. The preferred internship duration is between 3 to 6 months.

This role is based in the Singapore and reports directly to Manager, Finance

A summary of the key responsibilities are as follows:
* Support the finance team in processing and reconciling patient billing, insurance claims, and payments.
* Assist with preparing financial reports, data analysis, and performance tracking.
* Assist in managing payment collections and resolving discrepancies in financial records.
* Help with month-end and year-end closing activities, including data entry and reconciliation.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial operations and improve processes.
* Ad Hoc Tasks: Undertake any additional ad hoc duties as assigned to support finance operations.

About you
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel (e.g. formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) and Word.
* Strong interest in data analytics, with a keen curiosity to analyse financial and operational data to derive meaningful insights.
* Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial concepts, with the ability to apply them in practical scenarios.
* Strong interest in healthcare finance and operations, with a desire to understand business drivers and performance metrics.
* High level of initiative and a proactive approach to problem-solving and learning.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
* Proactive and responsible, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
* Demonstrates integrity and high ethical standards in handling financial information.
