Our (COMPANY NAME) rail team based in the Pilbara on a 2:1 roster is seeking a Communications Technician, to join our signalling and communications team. (COMPANY NAME) will provide an opportunity for an entry level candidate to attain certificate ( UEE20720 Certificate II in Data and Voice Communications) and field-based mentoring will be provided.

Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

* Termination of communications cabling.
* Installation, configuration and testing of networking equipment.
* Installation of pre-fabricated location cases and equipment rooms.
* Assist in scoping and site audits.

About You

We are looking for a motivated individual who has excellent communication skills and embodies (COMPANY NAME)'s values - caring, empowering, imaginative and future-focused.
Applicants may have the following relevant systems experience and qualification:

* ACMA Certified or Trade certificate or Diploma in Telecommunications or other related
* Fibre optic splicing and testing
* Coax termination and testing
* Ethernet termination and testing
* DC(12V, 48V) cables termination and testing
* CCTV Install and testing
* Radio systems knowledge
