As a Database Performance Specialist, you'll be responsible for making sure our production database scales with the company's growth. Your mission is simple: keep our SQL infrastructure fast, reliable, and ready to handle 10x more customers without slowing down the product.

Responsibilities
* Optimize SQL performance across our production systems
* Identify and eliminate database bottlenecks before they impact customers
* Design and implement scalable database architectures
* Improve query performance, indexing strategies, and schema design
* Monitor database health, replication, backups, and availability
* Work closely with backend engineers on performance improvements
* Plan and execute database migrations with minimal downtime
* Help ensure our platform can support rapid customer growth

* Very experienced with SQL performance tuning in production environments
* Comfortable debugging slow queries, locking issues, replication, and database internals
* Familiar with monitoring and observability tooling for databases
* Comfortable making architectural decisions around scalability and reliability
* Really comfortable in a very entrepreneurial environment
* Pragmatic and focused on solving real production problems
