Would you like to be part of a team that works together to solve complex problems, build great products, and enable our global customers to achieve more?  As the Principal PM Manager (Data Protection & Governance), you will work directly with internal teams and partners to build engineering platforms and services that enable compliance and privacy resiliency and engineering agility through automated identification, detection, protection, and remediation. Our organization focuses on building platforms and services that enable consumer and customer Trust across all M365 products and cloud offerings. Our team delivers engineering investments for data protection and compliance standardization across infrastructure and across M365 services. We are looking for a passionate leader, just like you!

The Principal Product Management Manager will manage a group of Product Managers. This person will be accountable to the design, implementation, schedule and delivery of the product team and related services. This will be executed in an efficient, sustainable way with emphasis on reliability and product performance as the top concern.  

* Guide: Define the business goals for the team then create and execute on a plan to meet those goals. Build a vision and guide the team through landing it.
* Collaborate -Strive to understand the motivations and goals of our stakeholders and work towards a better solution together.
* Engage, Evangelize, & Educate: Have broad technical knowledge to engage multiple audiences to understand customer business & technical requirements and supply consultative guidance on product capabilities to achieve desired outcomes.  
* Manage, Coach, Care: As a manager you will handle leading a team of high performing Product Managers who engage with multiple partners and customers (internal and external). Your role will be to guide, coach and support the team to maximize their impact and support their career growth.  You'll also be asked to continue to foster a team culture of diversity and inclusion that respects diverse experiences and backgrounds to shape our perspectives on customer and product. This includes understanding, embodying, and advocating (COMPANY NAME)'s D&I values ((COMPANY NAME) Global Diversity and Inclusion | (COMPANY NAME)) across the team.

* Passion and experience supporting direct reports growth and career with experience leading a team   
* Ability to forge strong relationships with customers & partners, speaking with authority on behalf of Engineering, helping them understand our value proposition; direct experience working with customers is highly desired 
* Solid experience in finding gaps in product and advocating on behalf of the customer to make our products even stronger, with proven results in prioritization of product improvements based on actual customer evidence 
* Broad technical awareness across the (COMPANY NAME) 365 stack
* Demonstrated knowledge of the software development lifecycle methodologies 
* Ability to both show flexibility and build out scalable programs as we mainstream the business 
* Growth mindset with a willingness to learn, and a desire to help develop others around you.
