Your team

Bank Pictet & Cie (Europe) AG (the "Bank") is seeking to strengthen its European and German Compliance team in Frankfurt am Main with a Junior Compliance Officer (m/f/d).
The Bank operates across Europe, with branches in Luxembourg, Spain, Monaco, France, Italy and the UK.

Your role

As a Junior Compliance Officer, you will assist in monitoring and ensuring adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies, as well as support the implementation and maintenance of the bank's compliance programme. You will conduct regular thematic controls especially in the areas of investor protection, market abuse and banking law as well as oversight on the six foreign branches of the bank which considers all areas of activities of the compliance department, and prepare reports for senior management and regulatory authorities as required. Additional responsibilities include participating in compliance training sessions for staff and providing support with internal and external audits.

Your profile

As a Junior Compliance Officer, you have successfully completed a Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, and possess initial experience in compliance, risk management, or a similar area, ideally within the banking or financial services sector. You demonstrate strong analytical and organisational skills, as well as a high level of integrity, discretion, and attention to detail. Furthermore, you are able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Fluency in both German and English at the highest level of business proficiency is essential. Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is considered an advantage.
