Responsibilities
The Opportunity
The Sales Finance Associate Analyst within Commercial Finance will be responsible for Discounts & Allowances (D&A) planning, including Actuals, Forecast (FCST), and Annual Operating Plan (AOP). This role proactively coordinates with Commercial and Regional Sales Finance teams to validate potential impacts and benefits within the D&A taxonomy.
The position also includes executing pricing and discount process uploads for the assigned region. Additionally, the analyst will own their processes and deliver value-added insights to stakeholders across all activities, promoting continuous communication and the automation of selected processes and tasks.
Your Impact
* Lead the Discounts & Allowances (D&A) planning process for FCST, AOP, and Actuals, ensuring consistency and alignment with financial and commercial objectives.
* Develop, maintain, and enhance D&A financial models, ensuring data quality, traceability, and standardization across regions and channels.
* Analyze the financial impact of discounts, promotions, and rebates, providing actionable insights to support decision-making.
* Partner with Sales, Finance, and Commercial teams to align assumptions, timelines, and deliverables.
* Monitor performance versus plan (FCST/AOP/Actuals), identifying key drivers, risks, and opportunities.
* Ensure compliance with governance, controls, and D&A-related processes.
* Drive process automation and continuous improvement through tools such as Power Apps, Power BI, and advanced Excel.
* Prepare and deliver executive-level reports and presentations summarizing results, variances, and recommendations.
* Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for D&A planning initiatives and cross-functional projects.
Qualifications
Who Are We Looking For?
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, data analysis, and financial modeling.
* Experience with SAP and analytics or automation tools such as Power Query, Power BI, and Excel macros (preferred).
* Native Spanish and fluent English (written and spoken).
* Solid understanding of financial statements, with a strong focus on the Profit & Loss (P&L) and its key drivers.
* Experience supporting planning and reporting processes, including Forecast (FCST), Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and Actuals.
* Knowledge of pricing, discounts, and allowances processes within a commercial or sales finance environment.
