About this role

As our HR Portfolio Manager, you will join the Strategic HR Programmes & Change department to steer our vision into a tangible roadmap. You will lead key strategic projects, ensuring we deliver high-value results while we care for our people's experience. We need a leader who can lead the continuous improvement of our portfolio practices to keep us ahead of the competition. This role is vital for translating our HR strategy into actionable annual and quarterly priorities.

Location: Amsterdam or London (Hybrid)
Reporting to: Director Strategic HR Programmes & Change

These are some of the key components to the position:

* Own HR portfolio and project management strategies to enable effective prioritisation and alignment with global methodologies
* Establish a community of practice across HR to embed consistent project management strategies and methodologies
* Support leadership decision-making on strategy and investments through insightful portfolio tracking, governance, and data
* Foster strong working relationships with stakeholders across the HR leadership community and central strategy office
* Monitor portfolio metrics and collaborate with HR Insights to recommend improvements that realise business value
* Lead a team of project management professionals, providing coaching and development to ensure high impact
* Manage high-profile global programmes, including leading the People Transformation workstream within the HR roadmap.

What will you bring to the team?

* Proven expertise in Portfolio and Project Management (PPM) within complex Human Resources environments
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills in English, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
* A self-starting, proactive approach with the ability to work independently and maintain a well-organised workflow
* A passion for excellence, balancing a broad view of the business with a meticulous eye for detail
* Strong analytical skills and experience using data-driven insights to solve problems in an evolving environment
* Strategic and conceptual thinking skills combined with the ability to execute initiatives decisively
* Commitment to acting on opportunities and generating new ideas within an agile and fast-paced team.
