Your mission:

As a Facility & Building Technical Coordinator, with a high knowledge of facility management and technical installations (HVAC, security installation, electricity) you will  ensure the proper functioning of our building by establishing all necessary processes. As a good communicator, you will participate as a project coordinator for all logistical & technical aspects until the opening of our new building. 

We are looking for you to be responsible for providing & preserving the best conditions of infrastructure and to ensure the facilities are safe and well-functioning.  As Facility & Building Technical Coordinator, you are not afraid to animate meetings, escalate alerts and foster decision-making.

Be a part of our team of solvers where you will (specific responsibilities include but are not limited to):
* Manage problem solving for technical & security troubleshooting & helpdesk;
* Manage all administrative tasks (orders, inventories, reporting, cost & budget control, analyses);
* Manage the security of the site, access control and access request for all parties with the associated instructions and procedures;
* Develop, maintain and communicate safety and health plans, alert, alarm, intervention and evacuation plans including the preparation, organization and conduction of evacuation drills and manage and monitor first-aid and fire-drill trainings.

Let's talk about you. If you have/are …

At least 3-5 years of previous relevant Facility management experience including building & security systems (HVAC, mechanical, electrical & security systems, repair and maintenance);
* Ability to interact diplomatically with faculty (at all levels), in Portuguese and in English. Speaking French will be an asset;
* Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills essential with the ability to work with people from all backgrounds;
* Ability to work independently and without immediate supervision (demonstrate excellent organizational, rigor);
* Time management skills including being able to handle a complex, varied workload with the ability to lead and manage if requested.
