About the role

As the Business Process Portfolio Manager, your primary responsibility will be supporting the implementation, development, and overseeing of the Sanofi Operating Model Process Portfolio and Governance in accordance with the one Sanofi Playbook, methodology, standards, and taxonomy. It is you're your responsibility to support projects aimed at expanding the scope of the Sanofi Operating Model to encompass further end-to-end processes as well as establishing a close Partnership with internal control and relevant stakeholders. This role demands strong project management skills, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams to foster continuous improvement and achieve operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of project management expertise, process optimization skills, and advanced stakeholder management capabilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Process Portfolio and Project Management:
* Support Sanofis operating model Process portfolio implementation and related projects, including prioritization.
* Monitor project performance metrics and KPIs to track progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
* Align project objectives with strategic goals and communicate regularly with stakeholders at all levels to provide updates on project status, risks, and opportunities.
* Partner closely with Continuous Improvement department on initiatives to streamline processes, eliminate waste, and drive operational efficiency.
* Provide input and participate on process improvement workshops and brainstorming sessions to identify opportunities for innovation and optimization.

Governance and Stakeholder Management:
* Develop and execute robust process governance frameworks and conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and mitigate risks.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including senior management, department heads, and project teams, to understand their needs, priorities, and challenges, and incorporate feedback into process governance and portfolio management activities.
* Provide necessary documentation and support for Internal Control reviews and audits, facilitating transparency and accountability in process governance and portfolio management practices.
* Work closely with Internal Control in risk identification, management, and documentation processes related to process governance and portfolio management activities.

About you

Experience
* Experience (5 years+) in managing projects, including prioritization, resource allocation, and successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline constraints.
* Extensive experience in process management, business process analysis, and improvement methodologies, with a focus on data-driven approaches and technologies.
* Strong understanding of global operating models, process standardization, and automation frameworks, with knowledge of AI technologies (e.g., machine learning, natural language processing) and their applications in BPM.
* Proven track record of driving process improvement, automation, and innovation initiatives in a global or cross-functional environment, delivering measurable business value and ROI.
* Experience working in Global Business Services environment
* Understanding of internal controls, risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies, particularly related to process governance and portfolio management activities.
* Experience collaborating closely with internal control functions to ensure compliance and mitigate risks effectively.

Technical skills
* Expertise in process improvement methodologies and assessment such as Lean Six Sigma
* Methodologies, languages, and tools used for modelling and analysing business processes and systems (BPMN 2.0, EPC, BPEL, UML, DMN, DFD, Flowchart, Petri Nets, SIPOC, Value Stream mapping…)
* SAP Signavio for process modeling, analysis, and optimization, including the ability to leverage its advanced features to drive process governance and portfolio management initiatives effectively.
* Business Process Management tools (ARIS, Signavio, Enterprise Architect, Bizagi, Visio…)
* Analytical experience in Process Mining tools (Celonis, Signavio, QPR…)
* ERP Systems (Enterprise Resource Planning): ERP software like SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics)
* Business Intelligence (Power BI desktop & Service [Cloud])
* Familiarity with project management tools and software, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for data analysis, reporting, and communication purposes.
* Understanding of AI tools and a strong commitment to Sanofi's AI strategy

Education
* Master's degree in business administration, business management, project management, or in a related field. Candidates with extensive practical experience spanning several years will be considered equivalent.

* Fluent English
