Then become part of our team and swap gray theory for colorful practical experience! Get to know the day-to-day work of our press spokespersons at Mercedes-Benz. Take the opportunity to gain an insight into the corporate communications of an international automotive group.
Within global corporate communications at Mercedes-Benz, our department is responsible for press communications on strategy, corporate affairs & IT. The IT Communications team focuses on all external communications activities relating to Group-wide IT and cyber security at Mercedes-Benz. The topics range from artificial intelligence, sustainability in IT and digital twins to free and open source software.

These are some of the challenges you will face
* Support in the preparation of press appointments, interviews and internal and external events
* Creating and editing articles and texts for various channels (e.g. press releases, social media posts)
* Assisting with the processing of press inquiries, research, preparation of Q&As, briefings, PowerPoint presentations, etc.
* Monitoring and evaluating external reporting on Mercedes-Benz and competitors, including the creation of media clippings
* Collaboration in the conception of communication strategies
* Researching and implementing communication measures

Qualifikationen

* Compulsory internship or voluntary internship (6 months) in communication sciences, business administration/economics, public relations, humanities or social sciences or a comparable course of study
* Confident written and spoken German and English skills
* Confident handling of Microsoft Office (especially Word, PowerPoint, Teams, OneNote, Outlook)
* Ability to think in a networked way and willingness to ask questions

Other:
* Class B driver's license, enjoyment and experience in writing texts an advantage
