We, the BMW Group, offer you an interesting and variedinternship in the area of AI-based Recommender Systems. In our scrum team, we work on AI-based vehicle functions for the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant (IPA). We are developing a proof-of-concept for an AI-based Recommender System which includes data analysis, model development and deployment in a prototype. As a part of our international team, you would support the conception and realization of novel AI solution modules that make innovative digital customer functions, experienceable and enjoyable.

What awaits you?

* You support the development of software applications and machine learning models using state-of-the-art technology.

* Exploring customer analytics data to investigate in-car function usage during a drive is part of your role.

* You prototype and evaluate machine learning models for our AI-based Recommender Systems.

* Daily, you tackle exciting and changing challenges in an agile environment requiring creative solutions.

What should you bring along?

* Studies in Computer Science, Electrical/Information Technology, Mathematics, Robotics, or a comparable course of study.

* Hands-on experience in Machine Learning and Transformer Architecture (LMMs).

* Proficiency in Python, developing FastAPI, and DevOps on Amazon Web Services.

* Familiarity with Docker and GitHub Actions.

* Business-fluent English; German skills are an advantage.
