Position Overview: As a Business Analyst Working Student, you will support the team in collecting, analyzing data, generating insights, and assisting in the development of business intelligence solutions that drive commercial strategies. This role is ideal for students looking to gain hands-on experience in business analytics and intelligence while working alongside experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in data collection, data cleansing, and data analysis, including but not limited to:
* Gather data from various sources, including internal databases, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and external market reports.
* Perform data validation to ensure accuracy and completeness of datasets, identifying and rectifying inconsistencies or errors.
* Standardize data formats and categories for better analysis, particularly focusing on pricing variables and commercial performance metrics.
* Generate insights from sales data to identify opportunities for optimizing pricing structures.
* Prepare ad-hoc reports and visualizations to present findings to the commercial team, highlighting actionable insights and recommendations.
Support in the documentation of processes and procedures related to BI operations.
Participate in meetings to discuss findings and provide actionable recommendations.
Support ad-hoc analytics projects as required.
Qualifications:
* Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
* Experience with commercial data, sales operations tasks and analytical tools (e.g., Excel, Access, SQL, Tableau, Salesforce), is a big plus.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. English is our working language, and knowledge of German is an advantage.
* Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, a solution-oriented & willing to learn mindset, and a positive, can-do attitude.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* A passion for healthcare and a desire to make a difference in the Eye Health business.
