Your role

We're looking for an Intern to:

* make sure the financial information and accounting for the AM business area is complete, accurate and auditable
* produce statement or report e.g. complex calculations, financial statements, P&L, Balance Sheet, Close Pack,
* use appropriate controls throughout all financial accounting and reporting processes, to adhere to our accounting standards
* prepare and record journal entries in the general ledger, sub ledger and other applications
* review, analyze and investigate variances, maintaining the general ledger
* support continuous improvement of efficiency and effectiveness

Your team

You'll be working in the UK FAC team in Pune India, focused on supporting the AM division through business partnering. We're committed to work as trusted advisors, providing advice and being responsible for [accounting, controlling and reporting]. As a financial accountant, you'll play an important role making sure the accounting records of the AM division are accurate and complete.

Your expertise

* ideally an year previous work experience as a financial accountant within the financial sector
* proven ability to deliver key criteria e.g. data analysis, financial reporting and reconciliations
* Accountancy qualification / master's degree or equivalent in finance
* able to communicate effectively and act as a change agent where required
* highly proficient in Excel
