The Position
Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive, confident, and highly organized Operations & Audit Compliance Intern. In this role, you will act as a key connector between internal team members and external vendors. You will play a crucial part in ensuring our department remains compliant with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and fully prepared for upcoming audits.

Key Responsibilities
* Vendor Relations & Procurement Support: Contact current and potential vendors to request, negotiate, and consolidate quotes for materials or services.
* SOP Documentation & Evidence Gathering: Collect, verify, and organize mandatory compliance evidence as outlined in company SOPs (e.g., calibration certificates, test results, training logs).
* Internal Training Follow-up: Track team progress on mandatory courses and actively follow up with staff members to ensure timely completion and submission of completion certificates.
* Data Management & Consolidation: Maintain, update, and organize central repositories or shared file systems to ensure all audit-related evidence is easily accessible.
* Audit Readiness Support: Assist the team in basic audit preparation processes, ensuring all documentation aligns with compliance checklists.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
* Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, International Business, or a related field.
* Languages: Spanish and Intermediate to advanced level English. Fluent verbal and written communication in both languages.
* Communication Skills: Extroverted, confident, and comfortable speaking in public or reaching out to new people (both internally and externally).
* Attitude: Proactive, positive, and results-oriented with strong diplomatic skills to follow up on pending tasks with colleagues.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Teams) or Google Workspace (Sheets, Drive).
* Knowledge of Preference in: Basic understanding of audit concepts, compliance, or quality control processes is a strong plus.
