Different does not necessarily mean 'bad'

Overall
The campus in Copenhagen is located on the shore which offers the incredible view of the port.
Even though this faculty is just 7 years old, it is very progressive in the methods of teaching which preferably fit to busy student schedule and make the studies enjoyable.
The focus of studies is more anthropological, giving importance to human factor of policymaking and business.
Professors are specialists from fields with long-year lasting practice and are always encouraging.
However, the assignments are sometimes confusing and the understanding of the task has a wide range of explication which makes it hard to deliver good-quality paper.

I loved my staying here, it's a good experience. Sometimes there were some difficult moments but it certainly makes you more independent and changes your life. I really happy that I took the dare and went.

denmark and aalborg university is a very good chance to study abroad, but be very careful with accomodation, ebtter to find teh way to find it yourself before coming here. also there is a tendency in the country to limit the opportunities for foreigners, incl. foreign students

You'll find Denmark to be a great country, with kind and opened people, good facilities for learning and improving academic skills.. My advice would be to try live in a campus, so that can make better connections with the people..

I wish I had known...
If it's possible, buy your school supplies and books, including a Danish-English dictionary before you go. Books are very expensive. Also invest in a money pouch or something that can go under your clothes. The busses can get crowded and I had my purse stolen (the strap was cut).

I don't know anything about the costs for non-EU citizens as my British passport got me free tuition, and rent as I remember is somewhere around $250 a month for a really great room in the International House. Denmark is extremely cold. Bring earmuffs and a good coat. Clothes and books are really expensive. Feel free to ask me questions. I'll try to help you out. Happy hunting!

No tips. All relationships are more or less informal and friendly. High taxes.
