In Dk all people speaks English quite fluently, you don't need to speak Danish to manage out.

I (and many other foreign students) found Danish extremely difficuly - partly because of the lack of pre-travel classes (I used tapes) but mainly a) the sounds of the language b) the very real difference between written and spoken Danish. The month-long intensive course was excellent (& incredibly demanding) but insufficient. Loved Denmark, liked the Danes, hated the *@! language!

It was very nice, because I was able to communicate with international students from Denmark and all over the world just with English, and that is great. I could share my experiences with them and I also learnt a lot from all of them.
