Biergarten half way up the schlossberg was amazing, and also the view from the tower on top. The Stusie (STUdentenSIEdlung) is the best place to meet other students from the university, and it's not so far from Feldberg, where you can go snowboarding in the winter (or hiking if you are that way inclined)

Course recommendations
Some courses for example electrostatics are very challenging, so choose carefully, and talk to the professors about the course content if you are unsure.

So many people speak english very well and are eager to practice it, so I didn't find so many oppurtunities to imrove my communication skills. I feel like i should have got a lot more out of living there for one year.
