French Language and Literature
Chrissy A
France, Graduate
Language, 2018
Overall
As a graduate of this program I can confirm that it is truly very interesting. The majority of the professors are highly educated (most of them being PHD holders) and easygoing with the students. Usually, the number of students in each semester is quite low, which is actually a good thing since this way the relationship between the professors and the students is much more interpersonal (usually the professor will know you by your name!) and a discussion on the subject taught is more feasible. Most of the courses are very interesting and as long as you remain consistent and responsible, you will not have any trouble succeeding in the projects or the final exams.

Good department even though it needs financial help
Una K
Greece, Undergraduate
Agriculture, 2018
Overall
The agriculture department is 5 years long and the diploma is equivalent to a Masters degree.
You are required to get 303 ECTS, which is around 61 courses, to do one internship and to write a thesis in order to graduate.
Overall, it is a good school and there are some very educated and open minded professors, but the laboratories have little if any equipment and the department doesn’t get any financial help from the government.
With that being said, it is very difficult to learn properly when one class has around 200 students and not enough equipment.
Other than that, the whole environment is really fun and friendly.

Living and studying at my birth city
NIKOLAOS P
Greece, Graduate
Economics, 1994
Overall
The level of courses I guess was good enough. Programme of courses was flexible. Classes were taking place both in the morning and in the afternoon. Teachers' quyality level as usual a t any place. Some were brillinat and inspiring, some other passable, and other boring and mediocre. Student's life at Thessaloniki is traditionally remarkable! Students' population was around 100.000, is was actually the largest university on the balkans peninsula, so it's not hard to realize that we 're talking about a city full of youth and energy and provides its students with unforgettable memories!

Best student life with a pretty good learning experience
Eleftherios K
Greece, Graduate
Engineering, Electrical, 2022
Overall
Some teachers are really good that help you to understand the concept of the subject really well but some of them could teach better. Some courses wasn't really needed but that was fixed when the syllabus got updated.  Student life I think it's one of the best although there aren't a lot of student events. The university help it's students with a lot of stuff like finding an internship, seminars etc. Not very good for non Greek students since most of the courses are in Greek language which is not easy to learn.

Courses' programme was pretty flexible, classes were taking place both in the morning and afternoon. Level of teachers, as usual at any place on earth. Some of them were brilliant, other mediocre. Thessaloniki has the largest university in Greece. More than 100.000 students live here and by just such a size of student population,  it is not hard to figure out that it is a city full of youth, energy, full of life to its max. A perfect place for a student to live and accomplish his/her studies.

Careers
The school itself no. They do not provide with internship, someone had to look on his/her own. This is a big minus I guess but on the other hand it was not that hard  to find something on your own, since there was a certtain level of active demand for such positions. Of course it would much better if there was a such a mechanism established between the university organization and the entreprises, but in the end of the day I guess anyone who was interested in engaging an internship, sooner or later managed to.
