Personal savings
Work opportunities:
I didn't explore any work options
Personal spending habits
I spent more than in my home country because most of the prices were higher than back home and also because being in a new place I was tempted to travel much more, to go out more often than I use to in my home country and none the less to make more international calls.

If you want to avoid bad surprises in Greece try to find housing with the expenses included. I received a huge electricity bill and is good to know that the bills for electricity in Greece come for a few months. This can me quite challenging if your entire staying is for a few months... make sure you don't have to pay for the people that were there before you. Internet is expensive and I don't recommend you to make a contract with a phone company it will cost a lot!

First of all, I did not have a telephone at home. Second, I do not have to pay for accomodation in Germany, because I am living at home. And last but not least, travel is much more cheaper in Greece than in Germany

Fortunatly we had the lesxi to eat. It was a big help. Of course I called my family and friend and the distant calls are obviously more expensive. There are more entertainment opportunities.

As food is concerned, the student restaurant is free. You only have to manage for the week-end. Travelling by train (the old one) and by bus is also very cheap because of your student card.

There was a student's restaurant that was for free. I don't spend money in housing, as I live with my parents at home. I spent more in travelling and in nightlife, because I was trying to enjoy all the diferents aspects of Erasmus.
