Copenhagen Business School and HousingAnywhere Internship

The University was great, everything a student could ask for. Possibilities of working in associated companies, start-up aid plans included. The only reason to why I would not give it 5 out of 5 stars is simply because I believe my course was not thought properly. My course was called Business, Language and Culture, which at first was great but then it became slightly too broad without going into practical specifics. We we're meant to learn the Spanish and latin American business culture as well as the European Business Culture. I believe a lot of emphasis was placed on what the past looked like instead of what the future might look like.

La oficina de carreras
Well, yes the university helps students with finding internship opportunities, but I did not use them to find the company i was working with since I graduated in August and Found my internship alone from Job platforms. The internship was great, taught me a lot of things that were very important for my career growth, and I believe I would learn a lot with this company as well as far as I read from the description. Of course I believe and hope to give as much back as possible.

Si lo hubiera sabido...
I didnt realise how bitingly cold Copenhagen can be in January! Also I didnt know how widespread the use of bikes was. If you have a bike you can take with you, do. I bought mine out there at a bike auction, however as you dont really know what you are buying this can lead to problems. The bargain I bought kept needing fixed and I would have spent the same buying a new one!! Also, until you have been there a whil you don't really know where is good to go out - a good website with an english translation is www.aok.dk

If you have a chance to study on exchange here, jump at it. It is a lovely city, with good accommadation and a big International Student community. The international office at the school are very helpful and organised.

Good Critical course but choose carefully your program

Valoración global
The method of learning is interesting and if you keep up with the readings you won't have any problem. A good english make definitely 90% of the help on pass the courses. Some courses in my program are useless, but other are very interesting. Considering that is a free program for european students the offer is very high compare to other university, maybe even better, but Copenhagen is a very expensive city.

CBS has always been ranked among the best universities in Europe and this means that it has become a sign of professionalism and success.
The academic level is great thanks to the good teachers and the atmosphere is proactive and challenging. Lots of events are planned every week and this helps you to find your own way.
CBS is not only a business school, it is a great and efficient international network.

1) Best cafés: - Rayuela, a spanish bar in Fælledvej Street (in Norrebro). Actually, in this street there are plenty of bars and stuff --> Gefhärlish (night bar) and Rust (a night club closed to these street) - Vinyl Bar: (Sortedam Dossering 81) Cool decoration, with vinyls, and awesome hamburguers! 2) Night life: - Meatpacking district: a zone with 5 bars and clubs that were really cool. -Rust (mentinoned above) - Vega - the Erasmus used to go to places in the city centre were commercial music was played (the wall street, kulorbar) but.. i'm not gonna recommend them ;) 3) place not to be missed: - Christiania! Amazing! take your time there, and go there more than once! there's always something to do! Night: go to the reaggae club there. Day: take your time to grab a coffee or w/e in the many bars there. Try the vegetarian restaurant, very cozy! :) - Norrebro Fleamarkets: on saturday and sunday. - Amager Strand: go to the beach when the good weather comes! its preatty cool and different! - Parcs: go to any of the parcs in town. I liked Fredriksberg have. - Nyhavn, Kongens Nytorv, the centre and Kastellet.

Alojamiento
Tipo de alojamiento: dorm
Organizado por: Universidad de intercambio
Si volviera, eligiría: Piso o apartamento
¿Por qué?
Basicaly because I think that living in an apartment gives you more facilities than sharing a kitchen, a bathroom and a shower with 7 other people. An ap. allow you to have your own space, is more calmed than a residence and moreover, is not that expensive if you share it with 1 or 2 people.

under my point of view, the resindence I stayed in (Pederskramsgade) was allright. My room was big enough to keep all my stuff, and the heating was always on, so the temperature in there was perfect! I lived in the 3rd floor, with 6 more international students, wich were really nice! We shared the kitchen, the toilet and the shower. The bad points were that the shower was inside the kitchen (we got used to it), that the washing machines where pretty expensive, plus there was only one place to hange on our cloths, so we couldn't wash cloths at the same time coz then, we could not hang them... There wasn't either a common room, but we didn't really care coz we used the kitchen or the biggest bedroom to meet each other. But anyway, I had a lot of fun there :)
