avoid they union unless you want to get drunk and covered in vomit. its a place of cheap drink, cheap women and average music. for sports, check out the aikedo scene as dmu has a really social club connected to one of the oldest permanent dojos in britain.

I worked during my study abroad experience

my home country is a third world with a 1000% infaltion rate. when you convert the currency your always at a loss, plus transport in britain in pretty hectic. i have a british citizenship and still had to pay foreign fees (thats about 8 times more)

if you are a british ex pat, you have less financial privaleges that anyone. so study in the eu and you'll prob get it for a tenth of the price.
