Une expérience inattendue
Keona A
France, Graduate
Management Science, 2026
Overall

Go there, you will have a lot of fun, especially if you stay in a student's residence but don't expect too much from the courses especially if you are used to good quality of the courses , you sometimes might be disappointed.

Travel tips: Lyon is the perfect starting point for making trips: 2h you are in paris on the cote d'Azur, in the mountains, Switzerland... 4h Milan, 6h Barcelona... Helpful advice: when you arrive try to get to know some host university students because they can tell you everything. There's also an association called "Opening" which is mainly responsible for exchange students, so you also can go there if you need to know something...

Financial courses are quite hard - they are specialized in this, but the other's are rather easy. Still there are some which are more difficult - I took fiscalité which was hard for most of the students.

There is a lot of group work in every course which is sometimes difficult as you can't choose the persons you work with. The busses often don't go every hour. So you are really dependent on the times.

I enjoyed the life there. But some of the courses are rather boring. The topic is interesting but the teachers just make it a bit boring. But, I'd say: choose the courses that sound interesting to you and hope the best.

For travelling in France, there is the 12 - 25 card in France. It costs about 40 euros and then you get a reduction of 25 to 50% for train tickets. If you plan to travel a lot this is really useful.

Cours personnalisés
Romain T
France, Graduate
Management Science, 2019
Overall
