Both at home (Iceland) and at my home university (The Netherlands), everything is much much more expensive than in Turkey

In the university it wasn´t so hard because most of the teachers had a good english. Outside the academic environment communicating was quite complicate but with time and the help and patience of the turkish it is possible after some months to acquire everyday knowledge.
