I will recommend it as it gives you a chance to do your own stuff. I wanted academic fulfilment as well so i persuaded the staff to give me two curses instead of the mandatory one. I also managed enough time to travel.

Ask local students about the courses before choosing. Some courses are much easier and less work than others, which is good to know when having to choose courses.

I wish I had known...
THe school is brilliant and the people are brilliant. The only downside is that the programme is not marketed enough. It usually ranks 5 in Europe, but anyone that is there and works hard for the MBA/MBI over 18 months and uses advanced courses for finance and the financial trading room knows this is a great school. I highly recommend the portfolio management and Risk management electives.

Bite the bullet. It may not have the high profile of the other business schools, but if you really want to learn in a truly international and rigorous atmosphere that promotes the idea of "No ONE right way, but many good ways" then take it!
