Concerning my language skills I benefited greatly from my stay in Belgium. Most of my courses were in English, and this was the language I used most with other Erasmus students. But in everyday life I had to speak French, also with my room mates who hardly spoke English. That's why I gained the ease and fluency in speaking French and learnt lots of useful, everyday phrases. What's more, speaking English a lot with my friends and having courses in this language I improved it at both casual and formal level, and also enriched my vocabulary by marketing and economical terms.

I think my Erasmus has been the best decision I ever made in my life. I have had the opportunity to improve two languages in my abroad. French, local language and English, academic language. To me, speaking foreign languages is one of the most important things for my future career.

My level of English was already advanced when I came to Liege, but attending the courses helped to refresh and reinforce vocabulary in the fields of management and marketing. As for French, having the opportunity to practice on daily basis halped me feel more confident and at ease.

IT'S NOT EASY TO LEARN TWO LANGUAGES AT THE SAME TIME. I'D RATHER RECOMMEND GOING TO SOMEWHERE WHERE YOU ONLY HAVE TO SPEAK ONE LANGUAGE
