Good education
Izel G
Netherlands, Undergraduate
Communication and Information Sciences, 2022
Overall
The courses are very well explained and teachers invest a lot of time helping you once things get a bit too difficult. The school is based at Zernike campus, once you get the hang of each building it is not that difficult to find your way to the required class room. Communication goes by mail and all learning materials can be found on blackboard! Groningen itself consists almost out of more international students than native people, since the education there is highly recommended globally.

I like the hard work, the fact that im learning lots of new things, getting experience, work in groups but sometimes it can get tiring being so busy, also the exams and deadlines.

The university has helped me develop further my skills. Moreover, it even helps me to find out new ones. I'm grateful to have the opportunity to work in different teams for integrated projects involving real companies. The teachers have a great understanding, are easy to talk to and are always ready to help you.

Review about the University of Applied Sciences Groningen
Milou W
Netherlands, Undergraduate
Marketing and Sales Management, 2021
Overall
As an International Business and Languages student, I mostly learn about marketing, sales and three languages: English, French and Spanish. I really like how the teachers always use their experiences of various businesses in every class and that we learn about subjects like cultural differences and can ask for help any time when needed.

Personal recommendation
I would recommend for example, for Erasmus Programme Students (my case), with no classes, only with final projects, is difficult to communicate with local students because most of us do the projects alone. It's different when you assist to classes in a course. I would do more meetings or activities amoung international students and local student for one bigger integration of all of us. Also, I would ask that there were more information in english please, although I know that in my home institution the problem in that way is worse. I would promotion more travel between students through the University because you can get more discount, and it's easier to meet people. I have traveled in some of this trips but with the IBS, not with the informatics students.

I think that one of the objetives of the Erasmus Programmes and International Study Courses is to know the countries and the culture of the host countries. So, It should to promotion more travel trips.
