Personal comments
eat together to save costs.
Try to find a bar where the prices aren`t that high, because in Brussels there are bars where you pay 1 euro (celtica, irish pub till midnight)for a beer and club where you pay 5 euro`s for a beer.

You can become member from esb, this is a student asociation for foreign students, which arranges trips, excursions, movie night`s and parties. By becoming a member you will get to know the other student more eassier.

The`re are several bars you can go to in Brussels. I like the bars in the city center, depot, mezzo, cafe central, mappa mundo, dali`s bar, but. I haven`t found a real student bar, I mean a place where you can meet students from other universities.
The student asociation from my university aranged a couple of good parties and also the student asociation which was helping the erasmus students.
Fuse (big club) parties were very good.
In Brussels they have nice clubs but rather expensive.
