Yes! The campus of the HU moved that year to an other location south-east of Berlin. That was new for me and it was not mentioned in the catalogue for internationla students.

Personal comments
I chose to do an exchange year in the Humboldt Universität zu Berlin to improve my german. Arriving in Berlin, and getting the administrative tasks done wasn't very hard. Also getting in contact with my neighbors was pretty easy. The first time a difficulty occured was during the first week of lectures. But once the scientific jargon learned it all went OK

Housing
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Home university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
While living in the Campus was great since it offered the opportunity to meet other students, living in an apratment with natives is probably the best way to get to know the country, language and culture

Personal comments
Berlin is a huge city. It was very helpful to get a room arranged by my host university before I arrived there. Of course, some points (as the cleaness, location) were different from the standards in Switzerland but in general I was very pleased with my (big!) room.
