In the beginning, I felt bad with the cleaningless of rooms, toilets, showers,... but for sure, I was in India ! I needed a few days to adapt myself to this unusual situation of living and then it was just enjoying of the indian way of living !

Why?
Indian students are very friendly and contact is facilitated. Easier for group meetings and student activities. Besides, downtown is a cheap rickshaw ride away (2 to 4 Euros, depending on the time).

Common and simple. Nice building. Very convenient. Shared sanitaries. Good indian food at the mess. Very flexible administration.

Nearly every Indian speaks a few words English (English is official language next to Hindu). Most speak Hindu. You do not need to speak any Hindu, as lectures are in English. The Indians English might be a bit strange in the beginning, but you will rapidely accustom to the local slang.

the indian pronounciation in English is quite strong so that it takes a few days to understand all the words because some of them are pronounced completely differtent than in AE or BE. But after one or two weeks it was quite OK and it was possible to understand nearly everything.
