Housing
Type of housing: With a family
Arranged by: Home university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
While I absolutely adored my host family and could not have asked for a better housing situation, I've gotten used to living without a family at university, and for that reason think that I would prefer to live independently or with others my age.

Personal comments
My housing wasn't through my host university, so I don't think my comments really apply.

Before I left for France I was nervous and thought I was going to have real problems when I got there. While there were some struggles, as is expected when one goes abroad, by the end I was totally comfortable and loved speaking French--whereas when I first arrived, I didn't want to say anything!

Final comments
Studying abroad was the best thing I've done during my college career-- all I want to do since I've been back is go back! I love my home university and the US, but my six months in France were definitely the best of my life. Advice: GO ABROAD! And while you're there, travel, immerse yourself in the culture, and have a blast,
