Personal social experience
Personal comments
Night life was mostly organized by students of the University, especially by those on exchange programs. Actually the students built the atmosphere in the city and so called night city life. Nice places in GIessen, besides kitchens on campus;), were Scarable, News Cafe, Harlem. On Schiffeberg there are someinteresting events organized.

Housing
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why?
Due to the possibility of having contact with international students, enjoying a single room and overall good conditions in dormitory. Besides renting could be cheaper, but is not in exorbital price.

Language of instruction: English
Was learning English a key decision factor?
No, it wasn't.
How much did you improve your English?

My level after: At ease in most situations

Administrative / Institutional
Personal comments
Living abroad in diffenrent environment and having a direct contact with language is the best and unfailing way to improve language skills.
